CI INSTRUCTOR - Georgia

Associate’s degree (A.S.) from an accredited two year college in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field. Significant experience in routing, switching and infrastructure related communications to include encryption devices and various physical, MAC, network, and transport layer devices, preferably a mix of operational experience and developing course materials. 7+years preferred. Experience with U.S. laws, DoD policies, Air Force and ANG regulations, and NGB and state policies applicable to the processes outlined above, as well as with applicable automated systems, is highly desired. Strong organizational skills and a confident, detail-oriented, customer-oriented, positivemindset will be a great asset to this position. Additional skills required are as follows:
  • Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching devices.
  • Experience with the following cable/ interface standards.
  • RS 530/449/232, Ethernet, HSSI and EHSSI
  • Experience with Theater Deployable Communications (TDC) Infrastructure equipment
  • Extensive experience with bulk encryption techniques.
  • KG19, KIV7M and 256 AES
  • Expert Level Understanding of infrastructure and transport communications fundamentals
  • Strong background in TCP/IP internet working, routing, switching, VLAN configuration and troubleshooting IP networks.
  • Good working knowledge of switch and routing security protocols and techniques
  • Able to perform complex network troubleshooting and resolve programming errors andequipment malfunctions.
  • Ability to develop and/or update technical training courses for existing or newly fielded AirForce Communications Transport equipment
  • Perform routine review of training materials and enhance/update as necessary.
  • Expert level of skill on Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Key Note.
  • Ability to perform technical lectures in an articulate logical manner
